Napa Valley really is a valley. The Mayacamas Range spans the west side of the valley and the Vacca Range of mountains flank the east side. In the middle is the valley floor. The panoramic view from the valley floor is just as impressive as from high above in the mountains. Black Stallion used to be the Silverado Horseman’s Center and uses the indoor horse track as the wine-making and production facility where it produces more than 19 varietals. You will recognize Chimney Rock Winery’s building from their wine labels that they have been creating since 1980. Goosecross is a family-owned winery with an intimate property that makes it feel like you are driving up their personal driveway. If you don’t start your day with bubbles, you should end it with them at Domaine Chandon. Relax on the terrace and soak it in.
